When traveling in the Mojave Desert, Christina met her guardian angel in the form of a blue butterfly. Ever since that moment, butterflies are very present in her life and her paintings. This video shows the “birth” of Christina’s latest butterfly paintings as well as pictures of her performing their “burial” and “rebirth”.
The resulting works will be part of Christina’s upcoming exhibition “Terra“, which opens at Galerie Espace-L in Geneva on 18 November in the presence of the artist. The exhibition will be on from 19 November 2014 – 8 January 2015.
